Larry H. Miller Sports Entertainment (LHMSE) operates world-class entertainment venues and sporting franchises including Megaplex Theatres, Salt Lake Bees Baseball and Big League Utah. The IT department supports the organization in achieving strategic technology direction, support for business optimization, and best in class guest experiences.

Job Summary:

The Systems Engineer III works as part of the IT Operations team. Because we deploy new technologies frequently, the ability to learn, understand and operate new technologies is paramount. Some of the areas of focus would be:

• Microsoft Active Directory, OneDrive, Office365, Teams, Exchange
• Virtualization with VMWare, Acropolis
• Azure and AWS
• SSL Certificates, .1x authentication
• HPE Aruba networks and Clearpass

The ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable about all the above, ideally holding certifications, and strong experience in using them from inception to best practices. This is a hybrid position, which will require at least 4 days a week in our corporate offices in Sandy (though you can work more in the office if you prefer), with 1 days a week remote. This position will also participate in an on-call rotation requiring an estimated 1 week of on-call per month.

Primary Duties:

Job Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience, or equivalent, working in IT
• 5 years of experience, or equivalent, working in IT systems administration.
• Certifications in relevant IT products and technologies preferred
• Expertise with Microsoft system administration, setting up Domains, Active Directory, OneDrive and SharePoint
• Prior experience offering technical support in a retail environment.
• Clear and effective in verbal and written communication, especially when explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to think critically and problem solve without supervision.
• Expertise with a wide range of standard office products
• Able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
• Able to work independently or in a team setting
• Able to learn new technologies and/or products quickly
• Up to date on new and fast-changing technologies

Physical Requirements:

• Must have valid driver's license with reliable transportation and be able to get to the various company properties when needed
• Able to sit, stand, bend, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time
• Able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
• Able to lift 50 lbs
